Alfred Hitchcock — Master of Horror
The inventor of the thriller genre and the master of subtle horror understood more than anyone else how to tear his audience out of their comfort zone and to submerse them deeply in a tide of emotions and fears. With his sophisticated cinematographic techniques, sound scripts and the suggestive use of light and shadow, Hitchcock conveyed emotions not only on the screen, but also in the minds of his audience. The Limited Edition Alfred Hitchcock with Ag 925 sterling silver fittings is decorated with special details recalling the highlights of Hitchcock’s career a knife-shaped clip reminiscent of “Psycho” and a sophisticated surface effect alluding to the dizzying effect of the staircase in “Vertigo”.

- ALFRED HITCHCOCK -
Hitchcock, inventor of the thriller genre, knew that audiences love to ride a rollercoaster of fear. His masterful cinematic technique is clearly demonstrated in the famous shower scene from the film “Psycho” (1960). In 45 seconds that wrote film history, a woman is murdered in cold blood with a knife whose shadowy image remains emblazoned in the mind’s eye long after the screen goes dark. This murder weapon also plays a key role in the design of the Alfred Hitchcock Limited Edition 3000, its sinister shape providing the inspiration for the pen’s clip.
