Description
The Montblanc Great Characters James Dean is a rollerball pen from the 1931 Limited Edition. The edition was introduced in 2018 and is limited to 1,931 pieces worldwide—a number that refers to James Dean’s year of birth. The model bears the number M28512, and the item number is 117893.
The barrel is made of 925 sterling silver. Its engraving features the radiator grille pattern from James Dean’s Porsche 550 Spyder and also includes his quote: “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” The cap is made of grenadill wood. The ruthenium-coated clip is modeled after the rifle Dean carried as Jett Rink in the film “Giant.” The shape of the writing instrument and the wooden cap also reference the folding knife from “…for They Know Not What They Do.”
The rollerball is offered new and in its original packaging.
