Moctezuma I, ruler of the Aztec Empire from 1440, led his civilization into a Golden Age. Under his rule, Tenochtitlán – present-day Mexico City – became a cultural center with impressive architecture and mythical symbolism.
This exclusive 2020 edition is strictly limited to 888 pieces worldwide and features a particularly elaborate design:
– The shape of the cone is inspired by the ritual Aztec knife, which originally had obsidian blades
– Colors in petrol blue and carmine red recall the royal robes
– Hieroglyphs on the cap symbolize the years of his reign
– The entire barrel bears traditional Aztec ornaments and cultural references
– The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem
